regular guest of Prague’s National Theatre Opera

He studied originally clarinet and saxophone, later also opera singing at the Prague Conservatory. He began singing as a soloist of the State Opera Prague and he sang several lyrical roles (Tamino in Mozart´s Die Zauberflöte, Ferrando in Così fan tutte, Almaviva in Rossini´s Il barbiere di Siviglia, Narciso in Rossini´s Il turco in Italia, Jenik in Smetana´s The Bartered Bride, Alfredo in Verdi´s La Traviata He is a regular guest of the opera in the National Theatre Prague as well as at the State Opera Prague.

He participated in prestigious festivals as Edinburgh International Festival, Prague Spring and others, he cooperates with outstanding orchestras, e.g. Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, Scottish Royal National Orchestra, the Tokyo Philharmony etc.

He sang with great success in the same year im Massenet´s Manon in Vancouver and in Donizetti´s Don Pasquale in Cyprus. In October 2004 he started his long-term cooperation with the Opera Nationale de Paris (R. Strauss –Ariadne auf Naxos, Der Rosenkavalier, Elektra, Janacek – From the House of the Dead, The Macropulos Affair, Verdi – La Traviata, Stravinsky – The Rake´s Progress). Behind him there are many opera performances both at home and in abroad (Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, England, Spain, the USA, Japan).

His repertoir is very wide, he also likes singing the old and spiritual music (Bach, Haydn, Mozart).
