Pictures from the concert MOZART GALA

The jubilee 10th edition of the Gala concert in the Congress Centre Prague took place on December 10, 2015. It was devoted to the work of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. Arias from his most famous operas were performed by world-renowned bass-baritone Adam Plachetka and the soprano Kateřina Kněžíková, accompanied by the Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Tomáš Brauner.

The exceptional attractiveness of the program and the popularity of performers led to significant interest of the public for tickets. The contingent of tickets reserved for sale was quickly sold out. In co-operation with BVA International the concert was filmed by Czech Television, which broadcasted it on February 1, 2016 within the celebration of Mozart anniversary (available in archive). The concert was also recorded by the Czech Radio and broadcasted on December 17, 2015.

Performance of both main protagonists, orchestra and conductor, as well as the set, light-design and projections in the Congress Hall were highly appreciated by the critics and the audience.

MOZART GALA

World-renowned bass-baritone Adam Plachetka at the MOZART GALA concert in Prague! Apart from him Kateřina Kněžíková (soprano) accompanied by the Radio Symphony Orchestra under the baton of Tomáš Brauner will perform on December 10, 2015. The most famous pieces and arias by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart will be heard.

This year, the jubilee 10th edition named “MOZART GALA“ will take place at the Congress Hall of the Congress Centre Prague on 10^th December 2015 at 7.30 pm.

Last Gala Concerts realized: Mozart Gala, Dvořák Gala, Čajkovskij Gala, Verdi Gala, Smetana Gala, Gershwin Gala, Rossini Gala, Strauss Gala and and last year Bizet Gala.

BVA International in co-operation with the Congress Centre Prague is preparing, as usually before Christmas, a Gala Concert presented by one of the famous word composer.

Last Gala Concerts realized: Mozart Gala, Dvořák Gala, Čajkovskij Gala, Verdi Gala, Smetana Gala, Gershwin Gala, Rossini Gala and and last year Strauss Gala.

BIZET GALA will take place at the Congress Hall of the Congress Centre Prague on 9^th December 2014 at 7.30 pm.

The Best of BIZET – Carmen, Symphony No. 1, The Pearl Fishers, L´Arlésienne and more.

Performers – Jolana Fogašová, Svatopluk Sem and Richard Samek (soloists), Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, conductor Tomáš Brauner.

ORFEO ED EURIDICE

An unique project in the a baroque theatre in Český Krumlov – the film adaptation of a reform opera by Christoph Willibald Gluck. The performance features Bejun Mehta, a world-respected countertenor in the title role.
