GERSHWIN GALA

BVA International, as usually, in co-operation with the Congress Centre Prague is preparing further Gala Concert dedicated to the famous composer, this year to George Gershwin – GERSHWIN GALA.

The best of Gershwin will be performed by Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimír Válek, Jan Simon – piano, Dasha – vocal soloist, Petr Kořínek – double bass, Josef Vejvoda – drums, Karel Růžička – piano, Miroslav Surka – trumpet.

This concert will take place at the Congress Hall of the Congress Centre Prague on .

Dove è amore è gelosia

BVA International is preparing a historical reconstruction of the opera Dove è amore è gelosia at the Baroque Theatre at Český Krumlov Castle.

The performance will take place on 9th and 10th September 2011.

General partner of the project is ČEZ, a.s.

This project is prepared in co-operation with the Foundation of the Baroque Theater in Český Krumlov and under the auspices of the governor of the Region of South Bohemia Mgr. Jiří Zimola.

The co-operator of this performance is the The National Institue for the Protection and Conservation of Monuments and Sites of the Czech Republic, regional department in České Budějovice.

The premiere of an opera performance to be held on 9th September 2011 is realised under the auspices of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic Karel Schwarzenberg.

Smetana Gala

Smetana Gala

BVA in co-operation with the Congress Centre Prague prepared a concert devoted to the famous works of the framer of the Czech National Music – Bedřich Smetana.

Smetana Gala was performed by Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra conducted by Vladimír Válek and soloists: Kateřina Kněžíková – soprano, Tomáš Černý – tenor, Prague Chamber Chorus, chorusmaster – Jaroslav Brych.

The concert took place at the Congress Hall of the Congress Centre Prague on 7th December at 7.30 pm.

Verdi Gala

Verdi Gala

BVA in co-operation with Congress Centre Prague continues the successful series of gala concerts.

The Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra, Vladimír Válek and the Czech Philharmonic Choir of Brno were performing on the concert.

The Verdi Gala concert eventuated on 10th December 2009 in 19.30.

The recordnig was broadcast on Czech TV 2 on 1st January 2010.

Tchaikovsky Gala

Tchaikovsky Gala

BVA in co-operation with Congress Centre Prague continues the successful series of gala concerts. On 4th December 2008 at Congress Centre Prague Tchaikovsky Gala will feature Prague Radio Symphony Orchestra with conductor Vladimír Válek, Helena Kaupová – soprano, Jolana Fogašová – mezzo-soprano, Aleš Jenis – baritone.

The recordnig was broadcast on Czech TV 2 on 25th December 2008.
